Chord?&#8221;<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Formation Of The Altered Chord<\/h2>\n<p>The term <em>altered chord<\/em> for the rest of this lesson, would be limited to the dominant seventh (sharp nine, sharp five) chord.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, our focus in this lesson, which is on the formation of the altered chords is focused on the formation of the dominant seventh (sharp nine, sharp five) chord.<\/p>\n<p>A closer look at the C dominant seventh (sharp nine, sharp five) chord:<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\"
